By now my inappropriate crush on Taylor Lautner is a known and accepted fact. (Believe me, if there was anything I could do to change that I would.) Mattel is a wisely capitalizing on the obsessions of teenage girls and weirdos like me by releasing a doll of Jacob Black, who Lautner plays in the Twilight franchise.

You know you’ve made it into the American pop culture lexicon when you and your abs are “barbie-fied”. Although one reviewer has wisely pointed out that the doll looks like a 13-year-old on steroids.

This doll joins the Edward and Bella dolls – or are they action figures (I never know these things.) Are you going to purchase the Jacob Black doll when it is released in February?
