Brokeback Mountain continues to dominate this year’s critics awards. Three awards from the NYFCC and two from the NBR. With every awrd it is becoming more apparent who the frontrunners in this years Oscar race will be.

  1. Hey! A perfect record! I’ve seen none of these. Okay, pick the ONE film here that I absolutely MUST see.

    I know that John Wayne wouldn’t have said… he wouldn’t have “saddle up pilgrim.”

  2. I forgot Walk the Line (which I am seeing this weekend), Match Point, and The Squid and the Whale.

    I think John Wayne would be kind of upset by this movie. There are no “damn Comanche” in it to make it a real cowboy flick.
