While the Critics Choice Awards are not the best indication of what films may win at the Golden Globes/ Oscars, they are good indication of what may happen. For instance, Avatar (unsurprisingly) won mostly technical awards, as it should. But critics still favor a standard narrative film. Therefore Up in the Air or in this case, The Hurt Locker, will win the Best Picture award. It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow night at the Golden Globes, which I still don’t know if I will be able to watch the live broadcast. Dilemma, dilemma, dilemma.
Of course the most talked about moment from the Critics Choice Awards – the Sandra Bullock-Meryl Streep kiss. Great moment. Enjoy.
