Is Skyfall the best Bond ever? I’ll let Roger Moore be the judge of that, which is probably a good thing considering the train of thought I had while watching the movie last night. Some spoilers follow so read at your own risk.

Lady Gaga is reportedly in talks to pen the next James Bond theme song. I can’t think of a better artist to add her flair to the James Bond franchise. Your thoughts?

James Bond’s Aston Martin was recently voted the most iconic British car of all-time.

Brosnan Back as Bond?
By WENN Thursday, June 29, 2006
HOLLYWOOD – Pierce Brosnan looks set to follow in the footsteps of Sean Connery by teaming up with movie mogul Kevin McClory for a rival 007 film. Brosnan, who was unceremoniously dumped as James Bond last year, is the favorite to play the superspy in Never Say Never Again producer McClory’s new movie, which is set to compete with an upcoming Bond film. McClory, who owns the rights to 1965’s Thunderball, remade that film as Never Say Never Again in the early 1980s, and now he plans to have yet another go at the Bond film–with Brosnan as a returning 007.
And this is official and very important news….
Richards to Shoot ‘Pirates’ Role in September
By WENN Thursday, June 29, 2006
HOLLYWOOD – Keith Richards’ Pirates of the Caribbean cameo will be filmed when The Rolling Stones’ European tour wraps up in September, following months of speculation. Johnny Depp famously based his character, Captain Jack Sparrow, on the “Brown Sugar” guitarist, and Richards has long been touted for an appearance as Depp’s father in one of the two forthcoming sequels. And, after masses of on/off speculation, director Gore Verbinski has confirmed Richards will appear in the third Pirates movie, despite falling out of a palm tree in April and subsequently undergoing skull surgery.
Verbinski tells MTV, “We’ve written a little cameo, and Keith has scheduled us into his tour, and it’s going to be a lot of fun. Apparently he’s doing really well, and we’ll shoot him in September.”
