Dancer-actress icon Cyd Charisse, who appeared in Singin’ In The Rain, Silk Stockings, The Band Wagon and Brigadoon, has died at the age of 87.

It’s sad that so many wonderful people only seem to be remembered when they die. I recently watched Singin’ in the Rain for the first time and loved her performance (even if the scene itself seemed a little out of place).
